Manning Point is both a riverside and seaside location - where the sea and the north arm of the Manning River meet. Settle back and relax in this idyllic village by swimming in the river pool or beach, launching your boat, or pack a picnic and take in the views. The local bowling club is always popular for a roll-up or a great meal.

Farquhar Park estuary is an awesome fishing, camping and recreational water reserve. Access is only by boat, or four wheel drive from Manning Point beach at low tide. Twitchers will be impressed to view any or all of the species of highly endangered and protected birds in the area, including the little tern, white-bellied sea eagle, pied oystercatcher and osprey.
